You’re going to love this!
Put all the ingredients into a blender. EXCEPT the buttermilk. And pulse until the butter is reduced to crumbles. Pour it into a bowl. Make a well in the middle with your fist and add the buttermilk, then mix with large swoops with a spoon. It will be crumbly and you’re probably going to wonder if you’re doing something wrong.
You aren’t.
At least I think you aren’t. I can’t actually see you.
So, put the dough on the counter and smoosh the wayward pieces together. Carefully flatten with a rolling pin. How much you flatten depends on how thick you want the biscuits to be. In this case, I think thicker is better. But you might think diferently.
That’s okay, I still love you. Cut out circles with a cup and place them on a baking sheet. The dough left over can be molded into whatever funky shape you like.
Get creative, you could sculpt a Mona Lisa biscuit and totally become an internet sensation! Like that potato chip that looks like Abraham Lincoln!
Bake at for 12-18 minutes. You’re looking for puffy, flaky, and golden brown.
Mmm mmm mmm.
